I. General Provisions

  1. This Privacy Policy governs the main principles for collecting, processing, and storing personal data of the online store Master Kniga.
  2. The collection, processing, and storage of personal data is carried out in accordance with this Privacy Policy, the Law of the Republic of Lithuania “On Legal Protection of Personal Data”, and other applicable regulations.
  3. Master Kniga adheres to the following principles for processing personal data:
    1. Data is collected only for clearly defined and lawful purposes.
    2. Data is processed accurately and in good faith.
    3. Data is processed lawfully, that is, only in the following cases:
      • when the user gives their consent, confirming that they have read the online store’s terms;
      • when the data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the user is a party;
      • when processing is necessary to fulfill obligations established by law;
      • when processing is carried out within the legitimate interests of Master Kniga or third parties, provided that such interests do not infringe the user’s rights.
    4. Personal data is regularly updated.
    5. Data is stored no longer than necessary to achieve the purposes of its processing.
    6. Access to data processing is granted only to employees who need it to perform their duties.
    7. All information about users’ personal data is confidential.
    8. Data processing operations are recorded and, if necessary, reported to the State Data Protection Inspectorate.

II. Collection, Processing, and Storage of Personal Data

  1. Master Kniga respects every user’s right to privacy. Your personal data (first name, last name, address, phone number, email address, and other information provided during registration) is processed exclusively for the following purposes:
    • processing and handling your orders;
    • issuing financial documents (invoices, receipts);
    • resolving issues related to the delivery and receipt of orders;
    • fulfilling other contractual obligations.
  2. When registering in the online store, the user must provide accurate and up-to-date personal data.
  3. To protect your data, Master Kniga employs organizational and technical measures to prevent its loss, unauthorized use, or alteration.
  4. Master Kniga may use anonymized statistical data on users’ purchases. This data does not allow the identification of the user.

III. Transfer of Personal Data to Third Parties

  1. Master Kniga reserves the right to transfer personal data to third parties only in the following cases:
    • if it is necessary for the fulfillment of the order and delivery of the product;
    • if the transfer is provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania.

IV. Modification or Updating of Personal Data

  1. The user has the right to edit or update their personal data in their account.

V. Requests and Complaints

  1. A user who has given consent to the processing of their personal data has the right to request its modification, restriction, or deletion.
  2. Master Kniga undertakes to review any request within 30 calendar days from its receipt. Requests are accepted only in written form.

VI. Changes to the Privacy Policy

  1. Master Kniga reserves the right to partially or completely amend the Privacy Policy. Users will be notified of such changes on the website and/or via email.
  2. Changes take effect from the moment they are published on the website.
  3. If a user does not agree with the new version of the Privacy Policy, they may notify us in writing (via email or postal mail). In such case, they lose the right to use the online store’s services.
  4. If, after the changes to the Privacy Policy, the user continues to use the website, it signifies their consent to the new version.
